Legal Seafood Prudential Center 800 Boylston St. Boston, MA (617) 266-6800 Patron allergic to milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts. This was the first place Bud ate out on his own. He was smart about it. He went on a Monday night at approximately 9 p.m., after work. He had the attention of almost the entire wait staff. It was a wonderful experience. On another occasion, Bud joined two friends at Legal on a Saturday night and it was quite busy. Upon the arrival of his alleged meal, Bud noticed a piece of garlic bread protruding from the middle of his plate. The wait person quickly took the meal away and soon returned with his allergen free dinner. Legal did not charge him for the meal because of the error.
PF Chang's China Bistro Prudential Center 800 boylston St. Boston, MA (617) 378-9961 Patron allergic to milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts. This was our first family meal out, girlfriends included. We were impressed by their attention to detail. Bud called ahead and told them about his food allergies when he made the reservation. When we arrived, the hostess involved the manager who proceeded to seat us. He provided Bud with 3 allergy free menus which looked like cash register receipts. Bud cross referenced the 3 menus and came up with a nice selection of things to eat. I do remember he loved the spring rolls!

California Pizza Kitchen Prudential Center 800 Boylston St. Boston, MA (617) 247-0888 Patron allergic to milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts. This didn't work out very well from a food allergy perspective. When ordering, they seemed to understand food allergies and had a system in place to create the pizza on new aluminum foil to avoid cross contamination. But somehow, Bud ended up in the emergency room. These things do happen. We could have gone back and reviewed it with them, but we decided we are not comfortable in a pizza restaurant with Bud's milk allergy, so we moved on.

Fire and Ice 205 Berkeley St. Boston, MA 02116 617-482-FIRE (3473) 10/18/09 This story shared by Valeria. Patron allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, and sesame. Talked to the Wait Person and Hostess/Maitre D' regarding food allergies. We went to Fire+Ice with my allergic son and had a good experience. At beginning we were a little scared since they said they don't accept outdoors food on premises and that they were willing to accommodate us. They have ingredients you choose and they cook in front of you but for my son we told them what we wanted and they cooked it safely inside so no contamination was possible. We had a great time!
