Approximately one year ago Cracker Barrel instituted a policy to serve people with food allergies. This location serves roughly three food allergic patrons each week. He gave me a print out that they use internally as a guide to avoid cross-contamination and to recommend allergen free menu items to patrons. The print out included a list of milk free items and egg free items since I specifically asked about milk, egg and nuts. The manager suggested we should always ask for the manager to handle food allergy orders. |
