We did not actually eat here, since they are closed on Sundays and that was the day we had planned to dine here. I talked to Venessa, who was working behind the counter. She told me that the owner is usually on the premises and they serve people with food allergies all the time. |

At the time of this post, Rib Daddy's is ranked # 2 at Tripadvisor.com. After a tasty dinner, we sat down and talked to the owner about food allergies. He let us know that one of his best friends has a serious allergy to walnuts, so he's learned about food allergies through his friend. He even changed his sweet potato recipe to remove the walnuts based on his friend's input. They use a separate cutting board for the walnuts to prevent cross-contamination. And they use vegetable oil instead of nut oil in their recipes. |
