Boo Hoo to Blow Pops

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

After all these years of loyalty, I can’t believe that Blow Pops have gone to the dark side! In my last minute frenzy to purchase food allergy friendly Halloween candy, I saw that the Blow Pops label stated that they were manufactured in a facility that also process dairy and peanut. Arrrrgggghhhh!
No more Blow Pops. I’m done with you! So, this year for Halloween, I handed out Air Heads, Runts, Sweet Tarts, Laffy Taffy, Nerds, and Life Saver Gummies. So there. Take that!

Dumped again!

Dear Tysons,
Where the feather is my roaster?!!! So, now what? Am I supposed to stop feeding my family on Tuesdays? I’m busy working. Planning the family meal is hard enough when one is working without having one of the family favorites ripped away from the menu. So, you sent me a few coupons to ease my pain, BIG DEAL! So, now am I supposed to serve paper coupons for dinner? You big companies drive me crazy when you don’t ask me how you’re going to impact my life with these major decisions. And how do you think my friends will look at me once they realize the roaster I recommended is not coming back? Did you ever stop to think that lack of sales is your fault, not mine? Your distribution was feeble at best. I could only find the bird at one store and often times it was missing from the store’s cooler. Whether you know it or not, I can’t buy something that’s not in stock. So, bring back the Tyson’s Chicken Roaster. It’s yummy. It’s convenient (micros in 9 minutes) and it was safe for people allergic to milk, eggs and nuts.
Respectfully yours,
